New Associate Pastor Effective April 7

Very Reverend Godfrey Mullen, Administer of the Diocese, announced that Father Balaiah Ery will join us as Associate Pastor on April 7.

Father Bala will reside at St. Augustine of Canterbury, Hecker.

Father Longenus Odum, CM, is being transferred to Sacred Heart, DuQuoin, and Immaculate Conception, Tamaroa, and will be Administrator there.

There will be cake and coffee after Mass this Sunday, March 29, to wish Fr. Longenus well.

We will miss you, Father Longenus!

New Bishop on May 1

His Holiness Pope Leo XIV has appointed Very Reverend Godfrey Mullen, currently the Administer of our Diocese, as Bishop of Belleville. He will be ordained as bishop and installed on May 1 at the Cathedral of St. Peter in Belleville.
