Shift Sign-Up

Remember the best church picnics from your childhood? The food, the games, the socializing? As our town gathers together, please share your talents and sign up to work. Ask a friend to work with you for double the fun.

Silent Auction

Think about what new or antique items you can donate for the picnic’s biggest fundraiser.

We especially need handcrafted woodwork items such as cutting boards, birdhouses, wooden toys, picture frames or rosary boxes. We also need general gifts for men such as sporting goods, tools, BBQ sets, and gifts for kids such as board games, craft kits or outdoor toys.

Donated services and gift certificates are also welcome. We also need donations for our Cookie of the Month, Soup of the Month, and Twelve Months of Blessings.

If you have connections with a local business, we appreciate your help in securing items for the auction.

Altar Sodality Baskets

Choose a theme and stock a basket with items totaling $20.

Basket ideas include seasonal items, home goods, kitchen items, outdoor gear, family fun, kid’s activities, and pampering items such as bath products, candles, and scents.

Not feeling creative? Donate money and we will create a basket for you. Any questions? See Karen Limestall.

Country Store

Store favorites are homegrown fresh and canned fruits and vegetables; and homemade jellies, jams, and sausage.

We also need handcrafted quilted, knitted and embroidered items such as baby blankets, pillowcases, tea towels or dishcloths; and any handcrafted decorative items especially woodworking items.

Kids’ Games

We need prizes for games and grab bags, especially items priced $4 to $6 to serve as larger prizes.

Bake Sale and Dessert Stand

Bakers! Think about which signature desserts you will make. We need cakes, cupcakes, brownies, cookies—and especially pies.
